FIC was established in 1995 to provide a comprehensive service to forestry investors, from the assessment and acquisition of a property to its subsequent administration and management thereafter.

Anthony Wyld combines forestry and investment skills. He studied Rural Estate Management before becoming a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. In 1981 he joined EFG (the largest forestry management organisation of its time) as Investment Manager, leaving in 1992 when it was sold to another organisation.

Anthony then took an MBA at Imperial College before joining merchant bank Close Brothers Group as Managing Director of Close Property Investment leaving in 2008 to develop FIC full time.

25 years after its creation FIC manages over 40 forestry estates scattered around Scotland, Wales and England, some of which we have managed for over 20 years.
